Introduction

This information is being disseminated to assist all students, faculty and staff members in responding to different emergencies which may occur during the course of their duties at State Center Community College District (SCCCD).  This Guide should be posted in every office and in each classroom adjacent to the white board where it will be immediately available should one of the identified emergencies occur.

Please familiarize yourself with the contents of this Guide.  In an emergency it will serve as a quick reference for effective action.  New employees should be made familiar with it as part of their orientation program.

As you review this Guide, there are certain pages that contain blanks that you may fill in with critical information or the names of personnel in your department or unit who are qualified to perform First Aid or CPR in an emergency situation.

The District Police Department is available seven days a week to respond to any emergency which may occur.

If there are any questions or comments regarding this Guide, please contact the District Police Department at extension 5911 (559 244-5911 for 24 hour service).
